Frogwatch is a citizen science event happening now and through the month of May at the John Heinz NWR in conjunction with the Philadelphia Zoo. Great opportunity not just to learn about frogs, but to actually hike out into the refuge after dark and hear their identifying calls. We went and it was definitely worth the trip.

Make sure you register in advance because space is limited.
